Scientific studies continue to substantiate the benefits exercise. We all benefit from a well structured exercise program. Structuring the program is bigger a challenge than we think.
However, basic movement competency is often the missing item in many exercise programs. Pre-screening your health status with a Dr. is always encouraged. But why is there no attention given to pre-screening our movement abilities?
Giving attention to how well an exercise is performed first ensures a safe and well maintained response to the exercise prescription over a prolong period of time. This creates sustainability.
